By purchasing from us, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions:

Licence:

The-Old Piping Bag moulds and products are sold with a free commercial licence to enable you to use pieces from them on your commercial products, for financial gain. Selling individual pieces from the moulds for commercial purposes is not permitted, and breaches the terms and conditions of the Licence. An example is that you are permitted to sell a door sign that incorporates one of our frame moulds, but you are not permitted to sell the frame on its own.

Product Information:

– All sizes detailed on product descriptions are approximate and refer to the finished pieces from our moulds.

– All products are described as clearly and accurately as possible.

– Most of our moulds are made from pieces sculpted or modelled by us. We also make some moulds from copyright free pieces or curios.

– We may be able to make bespoke pieces/moulds. This is a discretionary service dependent on several factors. Please contact us to discuss.

– Please do not ask us to reproduce any characters or works protected by the copyright of others.

Pricing

Our products and prices are subject to change. Promotional terms only apply in the period stated for the promotion. We try to ensure that prices on the website are accurate. If we discover any errors in the price of goods before we accept your order, we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to resubmit your order at the correct price or cancel the order. The price of all goods and services advertised are inclusive of any UK applicable taxes including VAT. Delivery costs are additional.

Availability

All goods are subject to availability. Any product stock or availability information supplied on the website is an estimate only.

Ordering

Any e-mail or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order placed by you does not constitute legal acceptance by The-Old Piping Bag of your order. All orders are subject to approval by us. Personal information will not be passed on or sold to third parties or their agents.

Delivery

Due to Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic, all delivery companies are experiencing disruption. This may result in delays of delivery to you. All delivery times are aims and not guarantees.

We aim to despatch orders within 1-2 working days (working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays) and are often able to dispatch the same working day if orders are placed before 11am. Orders placed after 11am Friday, will be dispatched the following Monday (excluding Bank Holidays). During particularly busy times our despatch times may be longer. In the unlikely event that a prolonged delay regarding despatch is evident, we will contact you as soon as we can after receiving your order.

As delivery is undertaken by third parties, we relinquish responsibility for any delays that may occur due to their service.

Charges for delivery are not included in the stated product price and can be selected when checking out.

Should a delivery method be unavailable for you to select at checkout, please contact us in order to obtain an accurate, cost effective delivery method.

Delivery charges are calculated based on value and weight to ensure valid insurance cover for your orders. Standard charges detailed at Checkout are First Class delivery and First Class Signed For delivery via Royal Mail within the UK Mainland. Please see separate terms for Northern Ireland below.

Royal Mail aim to deliver within UK mainland in 1-3 working days (Mon-Fri excluding Bank Holidays), although this is not guaranteed. Please allow up to 14 working days (Mon-Fri excl. Bank Holidays) for delivery within the UK. During the Covid-19 pandemic there have been continued delays through the Royal Mail networks – some deliveries have taken in excess of 28 working days (Mon-Fri excl. Bank Holidays). This is beyond our control and we relinquish any responsibility for these delays and ask for your patience and understanding.

A photograph or signature may be provided by Royal Mail upon delivery. You may choose for your order to be left in a ‘safe place’. This is, however at your own risk. The-Old Piping Bag will rely upon the photographic evidence/signature evidence provided by Royal Mail as proof of delivery.

Shipping outside of UK is currently turned off due to Brexit disruption and the pandemic. If you would like a shipping quote outside of the UK please contact us via the Contact form on the website and we will seek the most reliable, cost effective method of shipping for you.

You are responsible to pay for any customs charges, import duties, tax duties or handling charges imposed in your delivery country. The-Old Piping Bag relinquishes any financial responsibility in this regard. Please check any customs charges, import duties, tax duties or handling charges imposed in your delivery country prior to placing your order. If you refuse to accept your order due to import duties, taxes or handling fees, you will be liable for all charges including return shipment costs, customs charges, duties, handling fees and processing fees.

Orders are dispatched to the delivery address stated by you when placing your order. Please ensure the given address is FULL and complete. House number, region/county and postcode are essential in order to ensure delivery. Please ensure the given email address is correct and a telephone number will allow for email/SMS notifications to be received by you. The-Old Piping Bag relinquishes responsibility for despatch to incomplete or incorrect addresses provided by you when placing your order.

Northern Ireland:

Shipping options for Northern Ireland are current turned off due to ever changing difficulties, disruptions to services and administrative requirements.

However, if you require shipping to Northern Ireland, please contact us.

Let us know what you are interested in ordering, and we will do our best to provide quotations for delivery services based on the current situation/service status.

We aim to despatch orders the same day they are received by us, if placed before 11am.

We may be able to despatch orders the same day for orders placed after 11am and will do so if it is possible.

International Shipping

International Shipping options are currently turned off, due to the ever changing situation regarding Brexit requirements and the Covid-19 pandemic, both of which are causing disruption to delivery services.

However, if you require shipping outside of the UK mainland, please contact us.

Let us know what you are interested in ordering, and we will do our best to provide quotations for delivery services to your country, based on the current situation/service status.

Returns and Refunds

If the goods are faulty or damaged, please notify The-Old Piping Bag within 48 hours of receipt.

Should you wish to return a product, please contact The-Old Piping Bag prior to returning.

The-Old Piping Bag reserves the right to reimbursement of the costs of delivery where goods are returned for no cause.

Any returned goods must include all original packaging. There must be no damage or markings to the original packaging and/or goods inside. We are unable to accept returns if the packaging has been opened, unless the goods are faulty. Incomplete returns will receive a credit reflecting any missing items. The customer is responsible for any return costs.

Any goods sold at a reduced rate, i.e., ‘defective’ or sale items, and purchased as such, are not covered by our returns and refund policy. Full and accurate descriptions are provided of any defects at the time of purchase.

Refunds for goods returned for no cause will be issued minus fees incurred by us if we are unable to recoup those fees from third parties, e.g., Paypal.

Gift Vouchers

They are charged upon ordering
Gift Vouchers are emailed electronically to the recipient on the date specified by the purchaser
They are valid for 12 months after issue
Confirmation of the Gift Voucher will be sent to the purchaser once the order is completed by The-Old Piping Bag
Gift Voucher values cannot be used towards delivery of goods
Gift Vouchers cannot be returned once the order has been completed by The-Old Piping Bag
Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash
If items purchased using the Gift Voucher is less than the Voucher amount, the remaining balance is no longer available
If items purchased exceed the Gift Voucher amount, the remaining value of the order, plus delivery costs of goods must be paid in order to complete the order
Goods purchased using gift vouchers can be returned in accordance with The-Old Piping Bag’s returns policy (see Terms and Conditions) and Distance Selling Regulations, but cannot be refunded. A replacement gift voucher will be issued in place of a refund. Additional monies paid above the original gift voucher value will be refunded.
Gift Voucher values count towards The-Old Piping Bag’s threshold of £70 for FREE UK Delivery

Gift Vouchers are emailed to the recipient’s email stated by you when ordering. Please ensure the email address stated is correct. The-Old Piping Bag relinquishes any responsibility for vouchers not delivered to your chosen recipient due to an incorrect or incomplete email address being provided to us.

Liability

The-Old Piping Bag’s liability for any injury, damage or loss, in particular consequential loss, arising from the use of any goods purchased via this website, or from the transaction itself, are hereby excluded. Any injury, damage or loss arising directly from the negligence of The-Old Piping Bag will be limited to a refund of the value of the goods purchased, together with any delivery charges paid.

Security

While all reasonable care is taken to protect the confidentiality of your credit/debit card details, The-Old Piping Bag cannot be liable if, through no fault of its own, any details are intercepted and/or used by third parties. All personal details are handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and our own Privacy Policy.

Photographs

We are proud to exhibit customer photographs on our website. By sharing your photographs with us you are agreeing to allow them to be published on our website, via social media, or other publications. Credit is always given to you whenever possible when publishing on our website, social media or other publications. We will not share your images with third parties without your consent. Should third parties use your photographs from our website or social media without your consent, we cannot accept responsibility for them doing so. We strongly suggest that you watermark your photographs.
