Description
Firescreen Set (Lower) Beaulieu Palace House
We feel very honoured to have been given the opportunity to adapt carved details from furniture housed within the Palace House, Beaulieu, into moulds.
The Lower mould was taken from a 19th Century carved oak firescreen, located in the Lower Drawing Room.
This looks stunning as a stand alone piece, any way of your choice – horizontal, vertical; either way up. Team it with the Upper mould to create a truly unique centrepiece.
Wonderful cake designed by Lindsay Albon – White Lace Cakes. She has used both the Lower and Upper pieces horizontally for an unusual effect.
Size of finished piece approx: 96mm x 166mm
Size of mould approx: 114mm x 180mm
Once the gatehouse of the medieval Beaulieu Abbey, Palace House has been in the Montagu family home since 1538.
Beaulieu is an award winning family day out with many attractions, including the National Motor Museum.
